Cotabato City - Masjid Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah

Masjid Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah which is situated on a coastal area in Brgy. Kalanganan Dos almost seven kilometers away from the National Highway. the Place is clean, and the views is fantastic place,  Try visit, and I sure you, you love it.

The Grand Mosque occupies 5,000-square-metre area within a five-hectare prime property donated by the Dilangalen family, about 9 kilometers away from the city proper. It's so huge
that it is seen from the east by those arriving by sea from the
Moro Gulf and from the south by those who are landing at the Awang Airport,
eight kilometres away.

One thing u must see, the fountain so beautiful.
I love it.

Perakh Maluba in Alibaba Resto

Wow Ferakh Maluba :)

First Time to visit Alibaba Resto, with my family, my mom she order a Ferakh Maluba and looks yummy, Can't wait to taste it.
I love to eat and dine. There are lots of nice and cozy
resto in Cotabato City. And one them is the Alibaba Resto,
which is the only Arab resto in town located at Alnor Complex.
They offer arabian food which i must admit is really delicious
but only hard to remember because of its arabic names. One of my
favorite foods they serve is the Ferakh  Ma'luba
(I literally wrote it down so i won't forget) which
is a whole deep fried chicken marinated with special herbs
and spices topped on Roz Masrey (rice) and served with potato
fries and chilly sauce. Ferakh Ma'luba is good for two or three
person at a very affordable price.

The food I eat here is not complete without
my all-time favorite Shay Susu, a brisk tea with milk.
Alibaba also serve Marhaba Tea as a welcome tea served
for free made from black tea leaves served hot while waiting. It is a must try!

I am happy spend my one day with my family. and
I never forget that day, I love Alibaba Resto.

Canon 60D or 600D?

Canon 60D or 600D?

I Planning buy a dslr camera which is Canon 60d or 600D. for my wedding videography business. i'm always thinking, if which best camera for my business in a cheap prices. but the Video Quality is not reduced,

I Compare the two cameras and the videos and photo quality is amazing.
although  the 600d price is much low to 60d. a little bit same, So really don't know
which one i choose.

But says others depend on the lens,
if you have a good quality lens, expect your shots is good quality,
and if you have a cheaper lens not means that cheaper is not good. but expect the quality is not  as you expect in expensive lens.

I saw many reviews comparison about of two dslr, and now i choose Canon 60d, based on what i need and what need of my business.  maybe 2 months from now  60D is coming.

Sorry for my bad english!

YUMMY DUDOL!

YUMMY DUDOL!
The yummy "Dudol" in Balabagan, Lanao Del Sur is a very worthwhile reason to stop and linger awhile in the area during trips to Cagayan De Oro or Pagadian City from Cotabato City and Maguindanao. These popular native Muslim delicacy are sweet and delicious finely ground purple sticky rice, cooked in coconut milk and sugar, flavored with natural Durian meat and craftily wrapped in palm leaves.
"Dudol" is very popular not only in Lano Del Sur.
I can't remember when or where first eat a dudol, but one thing can't I forget, the taste, Super yummy.
long long ago. the dudol is only serve it when have wedding or any special occation.
And now you can buy it somewhere for cheap price.

Pastil / Patir ANY TIME

Pastil / Patir

Pastil is one of the most popular Maguindanaon delicacies. It is prepared with steamed rice and shredded chicken then wrapped with banana leaf.
Pastil is available in most of the local restaurants particularly at the public market area. my kids super like pastil
What is Pastil?
To the aliens from Mars hehehe, pastil (or patil) is said to be a Muslim delicacy commonly enjoyed by Maguindanaons.
But because of the variations of the delicacy, some people have gained a common understanding that pastil is now the chicken topping on the rice (and not the whole banana leaf package thing); and that it can actually be eaten solo or as a staple food with some viand.

Kwek Kwek and Fish Balls two Delicious

The country’s most popular pastimes are, without questions,
eating and debating, so expect a heated argument, especially
since Philippines are jammed with incredible street-foods stalls
and bakeries.

Besides eating and talking about food,
the Filipinos also love to feed their guests,
so meals with friends and family can go on for hours and
include dozens of different dishes. Any visitor with a big appetite,
a little patience, and an adventurous spirit is bound to eat more and
better in Philippines than virtually else in the world.

When i'm eating a fish-balls i remember my college day, every time
have no class or during recess. the fish balls vendors is always in
front of our school to wait the student. :)

For travelers to Philippines who want to get a deeper
sense of the country’s food culture beyond the well-known
staples of kwek-kwek and fish balls, our province is an
excellent place to start. It’s packed with classic family-style
street stalls serving food like crispy chicken skin, chicken feet
(adidas), and bakeries that turn out fresh German bread and the appetizing Cakes.

The city of cotabato is relatively small, so getting up
to tip area of the country takes only about an hour,
barring horrendous traffic. But still, the most amazing
place to stay with.

Then again, I’ve never managed to take my own advice,
especially since the most intent Filipino drinks won’t
let guests leave the table without tasting everything in sight and having seconds.

All  I can say is, kwek kwek and fish balls is super delicious.
especially when have a cold drink or coffee,
if you have not tasted it. taste it and surely, you're not repent.

I remember my wife, she always cook kwek kwek and fishballs for our kids. she's on abroad now...

Canon EOS 1100D

Canon EOS 1100D My Review

LOWEST PRICE:$329.95

Introduction

The 1100D is aimed primarily at first-time DSLR
buyers on a budget, and at compact users looking to
upgrade to a DSLR they can expand their knowledge of
photography with. As such, you’d expect ease-of-use to figure
quite highly, along with the ability to deliver the same
high image quality that’s come to be associated with Canon DSLRs.
However, given the price, it’s also reasonable to
expect the omission of some of the more advanced features
found on more expensive DSLRs.

Indeed, with the 1100D this is pretty much what you get.
As a direct replacement for the 1000D that was launched
back in 2008, the 1100D enjoys several notable upgrades
over its predecessor, while some of the features found on recent
Canon models located higher up the range are unsurprisingly absent too.

The 1100D’s list of upgrades over the 1000D include
an extra 2MP of resolution, a more powerful and
up-to-date image processor, a larger rear LCD monitor,
an expanded sensitivity range, and the ability to record
movies. In addition, the 1110D also benefits from the
same nine-point AF module and 63-zone evaluative metering system of the 600D.

The Canon EOS 1100D, I have taken atleast 3000 Pictures in the
last 1 month but I havent explored the Manual focus yet ,
I am still using the Auto focus which makes life a lot
easier so I am not really bothered about the Manual Focus
and cant comment on it.When you zoom a nearby object and take
a picture in Auto Focus mode in normal day light , the picture
quality is simply Mind Blowing.thats why i love this camera.
I would definitely recommend this
camera for the bigginers like me,

I love Tinagtag!

Have you ever tried tinagtag? My family and relative loves this local delicacy from Maguindanao and expects me to bring this as a pasalubong. It's my favorite Maguindanaon delicacy too. If you are planning to visit Cotabato City, one thing you must never forget is to include in your checklist the delicious native rolled delicacy of Maguindanaons “Tinagtag” to bring home with you. The gratifying taste of Tinagtag is always available at all

Maguindanaon’s place mostly in Pikit, North Cotabato where every town you will stop in is always sold by the vendors. It is usually prepared in every Kanduli (celebration) of Muslim people in Mindanao Tinagtag came from the root word “Tagtag” which means tapping. The procedure of cooking implies its name where it needs a great patience to produce such a yummy food . It is made up of ground rice and sugar with a little water added which produce a thick mixture placed over a coconut shell drilled with small holes and fixed to a wooden stick bind with a rope and tied to a pole.

The mixture filter on a pan of boiling oil as the cook taps the stick while making a circling motion that results to a round form of crosscut brown strips when fried totally.

And the appetizing Tinagtag is ready to prepare. Don’t starve yourself by just reading it, why not try some? Have some visit and bring home with you the enticing taste of Tinagtag and your family will surely love it! Prepare it for them with full love to say "Tinagtag for all of you" Smile
